WHO WE ARE
Praise Chapel International – Assembly of God is a multicultural anointed church, with two locations in Greensboro and Charlotte, North Carolina, led by Rev. Anthony A. Crentsil. As part of the Assemblies of God fraternity, PCI a powerful community built on God’s presence, principles and power touching lives and transforming destinies. We firmly believe that every human being is valuable and worthy of God’s unyielding love and grace. We are deeply committed to serving our community and communicating the message of hope and salvation through Jesus Christ.
PCI-AG was founded with the mission to disciple the nations through every excellent and innovative means without compromising the word of God. We aim to equip individuals with the tools necessary to lead purposeful lives on earth, contribute to societal growth, and ultimately qualify for eternal life. Our unwavering faith in the power of prayer and worship fuels our efforts to create an atmosphere where all can experience the presence of God.
As a faith-based community, we place a significant emphasis on caring for one another’s physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Our church is more than just a place of worship; it’s a place where individuals can find support, encouragement, and lifelong connections. We provide numerous opportunities for fellowship, including small groups, retreats, and social events. Our commitment to serving the wider community is evident through our various outreach programs and charitable initiatives. We believe that it’s our responsibility as Christians to be a positive force for change.

OUR BELIEFS
The foundation of our faith at Praise Chapel is the divine inspiration of the Scriptures. We believe that the Bible reveals God’s plan for mankind and that it is the inspired word of God. We affirm that there is only one true God, who exists in three persons as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, commonly known as the Trinity. Jesus Christ is the Son of God and is both human and divine.
We acknowledge that humanity’s first sin brought evil and death into the world. However, we believe that every person can be saved through faith in Jesus Christ and repentance of their sins. We practice water baptism and Holy Communion as two ordinances that symbolize our faith.
The baptism of the Holy Spirit is a special experience that empowers believers for effective service, as seen in the New Testament. Speaking in tongues is the initial physical evidence of this baptism, and we affirm its importance in the life of a believer.
